I’m gutted. Maybe he’s not a first choice, but an excellent squad player and definitely worth more. He’s way better than Padoin, Isla, Peluso, Marrone. If we needed the cash, we’ve got a surplus of average strikers.

What is the club thinking in selling an Italian international? Padoin isn’t international and, yes, isn’t quite the player that Emanuele is. This is a bad move.
Also I’ve just recently received the 2013/14 shirt with his name and number including the shorts with his number. I never saw this coming. The order with Juvestore.com was placed on 03 July.
If he does go I’ll be supporting and keeping a close eye on Di Canio’s Sunderland this season [as well as the English team I have supported and followed as a younger human, Everton Football Club].
